Her song, “Everywhereigo” went viral on TikTok in 2019.She has had several songs go viral on the app since, such as “Chanel” and “DRAMA BABY / MALIBU”. Babyxsosa’s music can be categorized in many genres such as rap, electric pop, and synth-punk. She currently sits at 461,429 monthly listeners on Spotify.
Her music takes inspiration from NYC ballroom culture. At her shows and in interviews she often pays homage to her hometown Richmond, Virginia, the place where she was introduced to underground music. In an interview with “NONSENSE COLLECTION”, she says that her main goal is to bring all underground creatives together.
Marika Sage
Marika Sage is a 22-year-old artist whose music encompasses several genres. Her discography is a mix of rap, hip-hop, house, and alternative. Her songs often flip between the rhythms of two genres, like a game of ping-pong. Marika’s most popular song is “Cupid Smoove Spot” that rides house-music beats and entertains the idea of escaping away from reality with your significant other for just one night. She has about 26,000 monthly listeners.

Momo Boyd
Originally known for being in her family soft rock band Infinity Song, Momo Boyd has recently released a country solo single titled “American Love Song.” The song compares the independence of a woman to the idea of American Independence. Her lyrics highlight how giving up her independence “goes against her core” and is something she will not do in a relationship. She currently has 85,000 monthly listeners.
Momo is special to her listeners because she continues to enter spaces where black artists aren't normally acknowledged. Starting with her family's band when they entered the alternative genre, and then going on to establish herself as a country singer. While she has only released one song, that song inspired many others to venture into spaces they were underrepresented in.
BiggKT
BiggKT is an upcoming rapper who is known for sampling old school beats and introducing a new school flow to them. Some of his most popular songs include “On My Mind” and “Speed.” In his music he has sampled songs from Stevie Wonder, SWV, and more. Listeners say that his flow is similar to that of bigxthaplug. He has 10,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
